Autumn
We’ve been quiet across social media for the past couple of months as we work away at the bench on commissions, and take the opportunity to enjoy family time through August.
However, now its time to get back to work, with a beautiful new collection coming soon inspired by the novel below, and if you have some down time how about…….
See: The Andrew Mcall light installation at the Tate Modern.
Read: There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak, an epic novel about Love, loss, identity and conflict , both saddening and beautiful in equal measure, From The epic of Gilgamesh in ancient Mesopertamia, via victorian London, to some shocking revelations about our present world.
Listen: If you didnt get the opportunity to see Florence and the machine at the proms, then catch up on BBC iplayer, Joyous!

May 1st…..
The sun is trying to shine, the blossom is in flower and the birds are singing, it feels like spring has finally arrived. The Cow parsley is in bloom making wooded areas look magical dressed in their lacy white flowers .
We’ve got some new product on our homepage and inspiring trips…
What to do….
….If you have a couple of free hours and are able to get to Bermondsey St, London,
The Fashion and Textile museum has the Biba show some beautiful Ken Russel film memorabilia and costumes on display.
As the originator of the high street shopping experience, the Biba show gives a taste of just what an experience and trailblazer it was.
Make sure you time your trip to coincide with the opening times of the London Glass Blowing studio, also on Bermondsey street, the glassblowing is both mesmerising and hot, the art works are truly exquisite.

its been a while…
It’s been a while…
Like everyone, I haven’t had the opportunity to visit new lands for a while, so my first journal pays tribute to a trip abroad.
Holidays relax and revive, they are restorative. Holidays introduce us to new places, new foods, new cultures, new ways of thinking and they offer us escapism from the daily grind. Here, not only can we explore new landscapes but often we explore our own personalities returning stronger, sharper and ready to take on the world.
I wanted to share this image taken early one morning at my favourite swimming spot on the island of Zakynthos. I can still hear the waves gently lapping against the rock as mainland Greece began to peek through the haze, under the watchful eye of Helios.
Here all the wonderful books I immersed myself in over lockdown felt all the more real as I swam in the cool morning currents and watched the sun’s reflection ripple in the rock-pools. Memories from ‘The Silence of the Girls’ by Pat Barker washed over me as I reminisced over Madeline Miller’s enduring characters from ‘Circe’ and ‘The Song of Achilles’.
To visit this island was a dream and it has since inspired many of my treasures. From Greek goddesses to overlooked gorgonians, each piece pays tribute to the strength of these incredible women.
