Meet Lucy Star
The Lucy Star collection was born from Lucy’s love of the past, while she worked in an industry that demanded bigger, better and new. Frustrated by the fast-paced, wasteful nature of the fashion industry, Lucy took comfort in employing old techniques to create magical pieces with unique backstories.
With a keen interest in archeology, mythology and the natural world, Lucy has combined her passions and immortalised her finds, casting them in eco-registered gold and silver. Her treasures hail from far and wide, from flotsam and jetsam washed up by stormy seas, to ancient coins unearthed while mudlarking. Each casting is hand produced by Lucy alongside UK-based Master Craftsmen and fully hallmarked at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London.
